ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT
The department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering had a humble beginning along with the inception of the college in 2001. In a very short span of time, the department has established adequate lab facilities. The department strives to achieve excellence in teaching-learning process and research activities together with the college. It currently offers 4 year full- time Bachelor degree programme in Electrical & Electronics Engineering. In accordance with the intake sanctioned by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, the department admits 30 students in U.G.
The department is accredited by NBA & NAAC for its good infrastructure facilities and the quality of education which it offers. It has 9 members of highly qualified and well-experienced Faculty. Senior faculty members are qualified with doctoral degree and junior faculty members are pursuing doctoral degree in various specializations at premier universities. Faculty members are doing research activities in the areas of renewable energy, power electronics, power system optimization and power quality.
